Conscious Entities[]
One cell,
Single, unified,
Passive, compulsive,
Always of one mind.
Never conflicted,
Internally, anyway,
Happy days
That I dreamed away.
And then, another,
Intruder, controller,
Who claims to have been here first,
It's in the eye of the beholder.
Hateful,
Arguing all day,
Hate you,
Just go away.
But here, it seems,
We will stay together.
Eternally arguing, bickering,
Forever, for ever.
What did I do
To deserve this curse,
And what did I do,
To deserve it getting worse.
Here we go,
One more evolution,
The same that brought,
The last revolution.
New rules,
Different game,
Couldn't learn
Put me to shame-
And then...
My body, to me,
Is totally unresponsive,
He gets to lead,
I'm just a subconscious.
And I can hear,
His mocking of my bonds,
And try as I might,
My mouth respond.
And what did I do,
To deserve this curse?
And what did I do,
To deserve it getting worse?
Bastard picked a fight,
Bastard lost dead,
Only one ticket per body,
Bastard left me here instead.
No moving, just seeing,
No living, just feeling,
No help, just rotting,
No thoughts, just reeling.
